Historic Firehouse Guthrie, OK
“historic FIREHOUSE!”
This was the first firehouse in the Oklahoma Territory, firehouse #1.This makes it the oldest firehouse in the state, and it also contains one of the last remaining wooden hose towers in the United States.
We plan simply clear out the stored items and open up small shops this summer to artisans. We test marketed the concept for four weeks in December and it was very successful. Most of the vendors indicated they would be interested in doing it full time.
- Historic Firehouse #1
- One of the last remaining Wooden Hosetowers in the US.
- Permission to occupy parking spaces in front of firehouse.
